Welcome to our Bay Area TAP League – the newest pool league format in the Tampa Bay Area! While we are the newest we also are committed to becoming the best!
The Bay Area TAP league was started by Michael and Shannon Mofield. We have been playing league pool for over 15 years in different locations.
Are you tired of players getting lucking by slopping in a shot? If so, this is the league for you!! NO SLOP ALLOWED. Players must call their pocket. With this being a handicapped league, this is great for beginners as well, since they will learn how to play pool the way it was meant to be played. All skill level 2's will have unlimted coaches. Let's teach the beginners how to play instead of being lucky.
Are you tired of your team having to split up due to handicaps going up? Well, look no further. TAP's handicap system allow teams to go to 25. Yes, you saw that correct, play skill levels to 25. No more splitting up teams. Play with your friends and who you enjoy playing with without having to worry about splitting the team.
Are you tired of having very few chances to go to the "Big Tournament"? If so, Bay Area TAP will send 1 team to the Nationals for every 16-20 teams in each format.
TAP goes places. The National Event is held in different locations every year in November. Check out the National Website with all the locations they have been to in the past and where they are going in the future.
